Developing our people is important for them as individuals, and for us as a business. Here are just two examples of personal development within Dacoll.

Meet Rachel Lee

Last July we shared Rachel-Lee’s story as she progressed through the business. Fast forward to today and she has made further steps in her career with us, something we’re proud of and so is she. Rachel-Lee joined us in July 2019 as a Call Administrator where she became interested in the technical side of the business.

Following the completion of a number of IT apprenticeships, she soon progressed to Service Desk Analyst and since then has made a further step in her career with a secondment into our Internal ICT Team as a Trainee ICT Engineer (level 8).

She is now enrolled on an IT & Telecoms Apprenticeship and hopes to become a permanent member of the team, she certainly has the drive and commitment to achieve this! We love to see people develop in our business and Rachel-Lee is one of the great examples.

Meet Ryan

Ryan is a great example, joining us as a Sales Administrator Apprentice when he was only 19 years old, back in 2015. Fast forward to 2023 and he is now a Business Development Manager working with clients in the public, health, charity and retail sectors. Along the way Ryan held the position of Sales & Purchasing Administrator and then Sales Operations.

“My career journey with Dacoll has given me a really good understanding of the business and what is required to do the job I do now. It’s great to have the opportunity to grow and progress, I never imagined I’d still be here 8 years on to be honest. I really enjoy the client relationship side of my job and the responsibility I have, it’s good to have some pressure! I also like process and appreciate the benefits process brings, that comes from the earlier part of my career with Dacoll. I’m now looking forward to developing in my BD role.”
